Well that was interesting. A nine minute jazz version. I thought it was okay until 4:45 into it when it went into sort of a free wheeling....um....not sure what to call it, cept it lost the melody line! And all that jazz...
Mehldau was on Joe Henry's Scar with Ornette Coleman and Marc Ribot, the guitarist often used by both Tom Waits and Elvis Costello. Elvis Costello had Paul McCartney as a bass player on at least half of his album Spike. McCartney was in the Beatles.
I know there wasn't suppose to be a game involved, but I wanted to see if I could keep the connections going back to the source.
